06 December 2013Our final website launch of 2013 brings Brown Brothers Engineers to life. Established in New Zealand in 1908 initially specialising in electrical engineering and later diversifying into pump manufacture for domestic and commercial use, Brown Brothers Engineers today employs 140 people in 13 locations throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The new Brown Brothers website runs on the ExpressionEngine 2 CMS and in addition to a corporate profile, portfolio of the company’s capabilities, resources and news, details the full suite of products organised by brand and application. Product information includes images, video and full specification in addition to downloadable technical manuals etc.
Brown Brothers Engineers is the first Propeller website to debut on Nexcess’ Brisbane-based web hosting platform and heralds the start of a new partnership via which Propeller will offer high-performance, low-latency dedicated web hosting optimised for the ExpressionEngine CMS.
Brown Brothers Engineers Australia are extremely happy with our new website. Propeller have done an excellent job right from the beginning with initial brief consultation and discussing which platforms would possibly suit our requirements; to Renee’s design concepts captured my requirements and presented them in a fresh, new way. Damien’s expertise really made this site possible. He has allowed our site to be feature rich but also extremely simple for me to update in the CMS, ExpressionEngine. I have found ExpressionEngine very easy to use, and Damien has been able to customise it making things very intuitive when loading content. We have multiple types of content on each article from text, images, videos, pdfs and links, all very straightforward to load. Thank you Propeller for a great site.
