LINES in the SAND 2011 is a free four day arts festival June 29 â July 2 at North Stradbroke Island, Queensland Australia. The program includes ephemeral arts, childrenâs workhops, performance, projection, artists talks and other spontaneous happenings. Also dance, song and art of the Quandamooka peoples.
Propeller designed the LINES in the SAND logo and branding and followed up with a website showcasing featured artists’ work along with a gallery of stunning local photography. A full events program is detailed along with a downloadable PDF incase you want to take the program along with you. Visitor information includes a Google Map and instructions on how to get to the festival along with some of the facilities available on North Stradbroke Island.

The LINES in the SAND website is built on the open-source Textpattern CMS, coded to XHTML Strict 1.0 and utilises CSS2.1 for layout and styling. Whilst remaining fully usable in all modern browsers, several CSS3 styling enhancements have been added where appropriate and can be seen in progressive browsers such as Safari, Firefox and Chrome.
