02 10/2013Damien Buckley Upload high-resolution images to PropellerMail - Retina-ready update

In addition to a clean new admin panel makeover, PropellerMail’s editor has received a few major updates in previous months. The latest update allows you to add 1.5x or 2x images to your email newsletters resulting in cleaner, sharper images on high-resolution displays such as those included with newer MacBooks, iPads, iPhones and Android devices.

If you upload an image that’s up to twice the width of the editable region coded in your email templates, PropellerMail will recognise that this has been done for the benefit of high-resolution displays and will adjust its width and height accordingly.

Subscribers using standard displays may not see much of a difference, hi-res displays will most certainly benefit from double-density images.
