17 07/2009 Wild Weddings wins 'New Tourism' category at Redlands Tourism Awards

Propeller would like to wish Jeannie Sheppard, long time client and friend, a huge congratulations for winning the ‘New Tourism’ category at last nights’ Gala Dinner for the 2009 Redlands on Moreton Bay Tourism Awards.

Having last year been inducted into the hall of fame for winning three years in a row with Stradbroke Weddings, Jeannie returned to winning form with her latest venture Wild Weddings.

Wild Weddings is the brainchild of Stradbroke Weddings’ director, Jeannie Sheppard and was officially launched in February 2008. “The success of Wild Weddings has been a testament to the flexibility we have integrated into our business servicing the wedding and event industry on North Stradbroke Island” said Jeannie. “Not everyone is looking for a large, lavish wedding and Wild Weddings was designed with these couples in mind” she said.

Propeller are particularly proud, having been involved with Wild Weddings’ marketing from day one; developing the logo, brochures and website. In addition to congratulating Jeannie on her win we’d also like to thank her for recognising our contribution during her acceptance speech.
