Located right on Brisbane’s doorstep, the Redlands is one of Australia’s most diverse holiday destinations. Fringed by Moreton Bay, the Redlands extends from Brisbane’s outer suburbs to the white sandy beaches of North Stradbroke Island, where it meets the majestic South Pacific Ocean. The new Redlands & Stradbroke Tourism Website takes you there!

Featuring some spectacular scenic photography of the Redlands and Stradbroke Island, the site is chock-full of local information, from directions into and around the Redlands including road, bus, train and watercraft to extensive listings of local accomodation choices; shopping, dining and events.

All local suburbs and places of interest are detailed along with details of how to get there and what amenities / services are available.

Brochures and bookings for both accomodation and transport can also be requested on the site in addition to registering for the Redlands tourism e-newsletter!

A custom Google map is employed to provide an overview of the area which can be zoomed down to street level and displays the locations, addresses and contact details of both the Redlands and Stradbroke Tourist Offices.

From its XHTML Strict core to its beautiful pure CSS layout and styling, the new Redlands Tourism website is web standards compliant throughout and, featuring a number of accessibility enhancements, the site is available to all, with most pages validating to the WAI-AAA guidelines.

Furthermore, using Propeller’s Web Publishing System, the entire site can be edited, maintained and extended in-house at Redlands Tourism ensuring not only that the site is kept up to date but also providing more control over the site with less cost.
