With design reviews and content delivery being an inexact science in web design, it can occasionally seem like we’re working behind the scenes for months with nothing to show for it and 2008 has been no different, with very few launches in the first couple of months and then bam! Bringing up the rear of a hectic May rollout schedule, Medilaw brings our 2008 website launches to 8.
Established in Brisbane in May 2000, Medilaw has striven to offer excellent service to the claims community by providing independent medical assessments and reports. Medilaw offers uncomplicated access to a multi-disciplinary team of medical specialists who have expertise in conducting independent medical examinations.
Medilaw approached Propeller to revamp their ageing website and with a solid background in the medico-legal service, were immediately impressed with Propeller’s attention to detail and dedication to building professional, web standards compliant, accessible websites.
With the industry and user demographic in mind we opted for an understated clean & professional look though tried to keep things friendly – corporate, but not too corporate.
Site visitors can track down Medilaw locations and peruse Medilaw’s growing stable of medical professionals either by specialty or location. Professionals and other interested parties can stay up to date with Medilaw and industry news and Medilaw’s breakfast seminar series.
A raft of medico-legal resources is provided both on and off-site and integrated site search makes finding specialists and other information a snap, whilst RSS allows users to subscribe to Medilaw’s news section.
The site is built using the Textpattern CMS’ and provides full management of the site within a simple to use web based administration interface; adding and updating text, images and downloadable files.
medilaw.com.au validates to XHTML Strict 1.0, using pure CSS for both styling and position and meets the WAI accessibility guidelines.
