It’s that time of year again – the Manly Harbour Village Magazine for 2008 has now hit the streets.

The latest edition is sporting a new look with a stunning cover photo of the marina at night by Martin Elliot, the talented winner of the photographic competition that ran in the last edition.

Some of our latest print work includes a series of press ads and billboards for Castlebar Cove, a prestigious new apartment and marina development on the Brisbane river.

Castlebar Cove won the 2008 UDIA Suncorp Award for Excellence as the Best Multi Level Development.

Bite Me Bait, a local Redland business, recently enlisted our help to produce their company logo and stationery in time for their product launch at the Moreton Bay Fishing Competition.

The brief was to develop a simple logo that would be lend itself to printing and embroidering onto T-shirts, caps and other merchandise.

The finished result was this simple, yet quirky logo that sums up the product at a glance.

Propeller were recently commissioned to produce a new catalogue for local food manufacturers Euronatural. The brief was to update the look from the previous catalogue and create a clean, contemporary design.

The great part about this job was that Euronatural had professional photography taken of their products that were displayed beautifully by a professional food stylist.

By working in concert with the photographer and stylist, we were able to ensure that the styling, imagery and layout fitted with the brief and the initial concept.

When the stunning Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel | Spa Resort completed its transmogrification from rustic old style pub to an uber sophisticated resort style hotel & spa, they called on Propeller to design a range of print materials to promote their luxurious new accommodation and spa.

Propeller created a promotional pack consisting of a unique presentation folder along with accomodation rate cards and a spa brochure…

Much loved Stradbroke Island icon, La Focaccia restaurant (affectionately known as La Foc), is moving to swanky new premises by the beach. So while renovations are underway, owner Joanne Opie decided it would be the perfect time to update their identity with a new logo.

Previously La Foc used Boticelli’s beautiful painting ‘The Birth of Venus’ to communicate the mood and style of the restaurant. Joanne Opie commented: “Because the image has been synonymous with La Foc previously and is still very relevant to the theme of the restaurant, we didn’t want to change it completely.”

As part of Propeller’s ongoing commitment to the community and environment, we undertake a select number of projects on a pro-bono basis.

The Australian Marine Conservation Society is an independent, not-for-profit organisation who act as “a voice for Australia’s coasts and oceans”, and work with local communities to protect ocean life and the habitats they call home.
