Having managed Brown Brothers Engineers web presence since 2013 Propeller are delighted to present the latest update to the brands' website.
A new engine under the hood
With Brown Brothers web presence evolving we decided on a technology change to take them into the next decade in the form of a migration to Craft Pro 3. This follows last years' migration of sister company KelAir Pumps and has since been extended to the New Zealand branch of Brown Brown Engineers. The company now has continuity and consistency across it's companies in sharing a common platform and build. Craft Pro has provided Brown Brothers with a fully responsive and tailored management environment allowing them to look manage the website from any device. The migration involved porting over 90 products, over 1,000 pdf's and images, 453 dealers, and fully re-designing the content for tabbed-descriptions, large full-width images, and a far more user-friendly display.
Mobile-friendly
With most users at the time being mostly focussed on desktop use the initial Brown Brothers Engineers website was a fixed-width presentation. The relaunch of Brown Brothers brings the design right up to date, fully mobile-friendly allowing users to access content anywhere, anytime, from mobile or other devices.
Revised Dealer search
Users can search for pump dealers by postcode or suburb and work with an adjustable radius. Once located users can view the dealers full details and location in addition to getting directions via Google Maps.
